Get Volunteering and do some good for your own neighbourhood!

As many members are aware we are lucky enough now to have a food cupboard (which is an offsite branch of the food bank) just accross the street at 470 Auden. Well to keep this awesome resource going for our members and our neighbours they are in need of volunteers! The hours are quite minimal and a great opportunity to for any high school students to get volunteer hours. The cupboard is always keeping very busy lately and getting more volunteers is needed.

Reminder as well for those members and families in need this resource is there to help with food security if you are in need. The hours are: Tuesdays: 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Saturday mornings: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (They are especially looking for a woman and an older child combo to help this day)

The volunteers however will have to be at the cupboard 15 minutes before it opens so consider this into the hours. For further information on accessing the Food cupboard click the link below.
